JFO rescuers neutralized almost 170 explosive devices in Donbas over past week

The pyrotechnic subdivisions of the State Emergency Service defused 167 explosive items in Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area during the week. It was reported by the JFO press center on Facebook.

“The pyrotechnic subdivisions of the State Emergency Service 66 times carried out inspection and demining of the territory, 74 hectares of territory were examined, 167 explosive items were removed and neutralized during the week,” the message says.

Since the beginning of the JFO in eastern Ukraine, pyrotechnic units were involved 3,952 times, 5,503 hectares of territory and 16.29 hectares of water area were examined. As a result, 21,682 explosive items were seized and neutralized.
