Over the past day, April 2, the militants launched 15 attacks on Ukrainian positionsin the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area. As a result, two Ukrainian soldiers were killed and another two were wounded, the press center of the Joint Forces Operation HQ reported on Facebook.
In the area of activity of the operational-tactical group Vostok (“East”), the militants attacked Ukrainian fortified positions eight times near the village of Verkhniotoretske, Shyrokyne, the city of Avdiyivka, Hnutove and Vodyane.
In the area of activity of the operational-tactical group Sever (“North”), the enemy open fire at JFO positions seven times near the village of Novozvanivka, the town of Popasna, and near the village of Katerynivka.
According to intelligence data, three occupiers were killed, another eight were wounded.
