January 11, the militants violated ceasefire ten times in the Joint Forces Operation area. As a result of the enemy fire, one Ukrainian soldier was killed. This was reported by the press service of the JFO headquarters.
According to HQ, all shelling was carried out in the area of responsibility of the operational-tactical group “Shid”. So, near the settlement of Pisky, the enemy fired from grenade launchers of various systems, a heavy machine gun and small arms.
In the suburb of Avdiivka, the militants opened fire from hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers and small arms, and near Pavlopil from heavy anti-tank grenade launchers. Near two settlements – both with similar name Vodiane (one located in the Azov region and another one not far from Donetsk), the enemy made several provocative shots from small arms, and near Donetsk – from sniper weapons.
In addition, not far from Krasnohorivka, the Ukrainian military spotted an enemy quadrocopter drone crossing the contact line. “Due to the skillful actions of our military, the drone was shot down,” the headquarters said.
