JFO: Ukrainian army eliminated four militants, another 14 injured

Over the past day, April 7, the militants violated the cease-fire regime 10 times in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area, four times using weapons prohibited by Minsk agreements. This was reported by the press center of the Joint Forces Operation HQ on Facebook.

“In the area of activity of the operational-tactical group Vostok (“East”), the militants attacked Ukrainian fortified positions near the settlements of ​​Vodyane, Hnutove, Shyrokyne and Novotroitske.

In the area of activity of the operational-tactical group Sever (“North”), the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions near Popasna, Ekaterynivka and Novozvanivka settlements.

The Joint Forces Operation HQ noted that the militants four times resorted to weapons, prohibited by the Minsk agreements, releasing 45 mortar shells of 120-mm and 82-mm caliber. They also attacked Ukrainian army positions using weapons mounted on the infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms.

During the shelling one member of the Joint Forces received combat-related injuries. According to intelligence data, on April 7, four occupiers were killed, another 14 were injured. Also was destroyed one enemy armored personnel carrier.

As The Journalist reported, men were selling weapons brought from the JFO area.
