Over the past day, April 8, the militants attacked Ukrainian positions 13 times in Donbas. One Ukrainian soldier was killed and another three were wounded, the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) HQ reported on Facebook.
Militants resorted to anti-tank missile systems, grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms.
In the area of activity of the operational-tactical group Vostok (“East”), the militants attacked Ukrainian fortified positions eight times near the settlements of Vodyane, Pisky, Avdiyivka, Opytne, Lebedynske, Verkhniotoretske and Kamianka.
In the area of activity of the operational-tactical group Sever (“North”), the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions five times near the settlements of Novotoshkivske, Krymske, Zolote-4 and Luhanske.
According to intelligence data, on April 8, seven occupiers were killed, another six were injured.
