“Military formations of the Russian Federation shelled JFO positions 13 times, seven times using weapons banned by the Minsk agreements, and released 31 mortar shells of 120-mm and 82-mm caliber,” said in a statement.
Militants attacked Ukrainian defenders using weapons mounted on infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms.
In the area of activity of the operational-tactical group Vostok (“East”), the militants attacked Ukrainian fortified positions nine times near the settlements of Pavlopil, Pisky, Shirokine, Hnutove, Avdiyivka, Verkhniotoretske.
In the area of activity of the operational-tactical group Sever (“North”), the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions four times near Ekaterynivka, Novooleksandrivka, Zolote-4 settlements.
No casualties among the Ukrainian troops have been reported over the past day.
According to intelligence, one militant was killed, another four were injured.
