On May 19, Russian-led illegal armed groups violated the cease-fire regime 11 times, two times using 100mm artillery systems and 82mm mortars prohibited by the Minsk Agreements. It is reported by the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) HQ on its official Facebook page.
“The enemy also shelled our [Ukrainian] defenders positions using weapon mounted on the infantry combat vehicles, AA gun, grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms,” said in a statement.
In the area of activity of the operational-tactical group Vostok (“East”), the militants attacked Ukrainian positions nine times using 100mm artillery systems, ZU-23-2 AA gun and automatic stun grenade launchers near the village of Troyitske; two times from grenade launchers of various systems and heavy machine guns in the area of the Pavlopil and Chermalyk settlements; two times from heavy machine-gun grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms near the settlements of Maryinka and Krasnohorivka; machine-gun anti-tank grenade launchers and heavy machine guns near the village of Lebedynske; two times from hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers and small arms near the town of Avdiyivka and the village of Vodyane; from heavy machine guns near the village Novohrihorivka.
In the area of activity of the operational-tactical group Sever(“North”) two times using 82mm mortars and heavy machine guns near the settlement Zolote-4; from the weapons mounted on the infantry combat vehicles, heavy anti-tank grenade launchers and heavy machine guns near the Novhorodke settlement.
One member of the Joint Forces was injured.
According to intelligence data, one occupier was killed, another one was wounded.
