On May 29, the illegal armed groups violated the cease-fire regime 19 times in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area. No casualties among the Ukrainian troops have been reported over the past day, the press center of the JFO said on Facebook.
Militants shelled Ukrainian positions using weapons mounted on the infantry fighting vehicles, anti-tank missile systems, AA guns, grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms.
In the area of activity of the operational-tactical group Vostok (“East”), the militants attacked Ukrainian positions 15 times near the village of Vodyane, four times near the village of Pisky, three times near the town of Avdiyivka, near the village of Chermalyk, near Maryinka, two times in the area of the village of Novotroitske, near Novoselivka Druga, Hnutove and Talakivka.
In the area of activity of the operational-tactical group Sever(“North”), the enemy attacked JFO positions four times the Horikhove, Zolote, Novoluhanske and Stanytsia Luhanska settlements.
According to intelligence data, on May 29, three occupiers were killed, another one was wounded.
As The Journalist reported, the names of eight JFO members captured on May 22 became known.
