On May 22, the militants violated the cease-fire regime five times in Donbas. One Ukrainian soldier was injured, according to the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) HQ.
It is noted that the militants shelled JFO positions in the area of Maryinka, Zolote-4, Novooleksandrivka and Popasna settlements, using 122mm artillery systems as well as 120mm and 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms.
“As a result of the shelling, one member of the Joint Forces was injured. Units of the Joint Forces conducted an active defense and gave an adequate response to the enemy. According to intelligence data, on May 22, two occupiers were killed, another one was wounded. Also, the enemy lost one infantry fighting vehicle and one military truck,” the message says.
