In Australia, attackers made a hacker attack on a number of Australian political parties and the country’s parliament. This was stated by Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison, BBC reports.
Initially it was assumed that the hacking attempt concerned only the servers of the parliament, but later it became known that the networks of some political parties – liberal, labor and national – were also violated. Whether any information was stolen is still unknown.
“The main political parties and the parliament of the country suffered from malicious intrusions into their computer networks,” he said.
It is noted that "there is no evidence of any interference in the election campaign," therefore, there will be no federal elections, they will be held this spring.
