Venezuela’s opposition leader Juan Guaido held secret meetings with Venezuela’s military and security officials, in which he acknowledged that he needed support from the security bloc to change power in the country. He wrote this to the New York Times, DW reports.
In the message he noted that the "decisive" factor for the change of power in Venezuela is the fact that the socialist government of President Nicolas Maduro lost support from the military. And Guaido himself needs to get over to his side the most important types of troops. Guaido also assured that the majority of the military agree with him on the desperate situation in Venezuela.
As The Journalist reported, the Supreme Court of Venezuela had banned the opposition member of Guaido to leave the country.
