As early as this August, Kyiv residents will pay for the service for the removal of solid household waste (SDW) separately, and the tariff will depend not on the area of a single apartment, but on the number of people actually living there and on the type of home.
This was announced by the deputy head of the Kyiv city state administration Petro Panteleev, reports [Ukrinform](https://www.ukrinform.ua/rubric-kyiv/2513119-v-kmda-poasnili-ak-rozrahovuvatimut-novij-tarif-na-vivezenna -smitta.html).
«Calculation of the fee will depend on the number of registered in each apartment», – said the deputy head of KCSA.
According to him, the emergence of a separate service for the removal of garbage is caused by the fact that on June 10th the Law of Ukraine «On Housing and Communal Services» came into full force. The new law does not provide that the service for the management of apartment buildings includes the export of solid waste.
Panteleev noted that the fee will depend not only on the number of registered, but also on the average rate of accumulation of waste, depending on the type of house and the tariff of the enterprise that removes garbage.
On average, the tariff will be 20-25 UAH per person per month, that is, a significant increase compared to the previous tariff, which was based on the area of the apartment.
As reported by Journalist in Odessa, a 40% increase in the tariff for garbage disposal.
