The State Enterprise Kyiv Armored Plant manufactured the experimental build of BTR-3DA made of armored steel produced by one of the NATO countries.

This is reported by the press service of Ukroboronprom.

«The experimental build of armored personnel carrier (APC) is made of over than 1,800 individual parts; 1,000 of them are armored. It will soon be sent to the testing ground under the control of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The APC armored body will be shelled from the minimum distances by various types of weapons, in particular, heavy machine guns,» it was reported.

It is noted that after successful tests and if pre-orders from the security agencies of Ukraine will be made, the Kyiv Armored Plant will be able to independently weld BTR-3DA bodies and other vehicles on this base, which will significantly expand the production of this combat vehicle that has proved its effectiveness during combat action in Donbas.
