Ukraine and China signed a memorandum on the receipt by the Ukrainian side of gratuitous assistance. This was written by acting Minister of Health of Ukraine Ulana Suprun on her Facebook page.
Within the framework of signed document Ukraine received 50 ambulances, which are equipped with modern medical equipment. It is noted that six cars will be transferred to Ministry of Internal Affairs and National Guard, and the rest are sent to various regions of Ukraine.
«The next step in the cooperation between the Government of Ukraine and the People’s Republic of China was the implementation of a project on medical equipment to equip ambulance teams. Under agreement, Ukraine received 50 ambulances equipped with medical equipment for more than $ 3.5 million», Suprun wrote.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China Du Wei also noted that the ambulance cars were received by Ukraine under an agreement signed by the parties in 2016.
