Ukraine is currently not ready to join the European Union, said Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin.
“Joining the European Union and joining NATO is a story that has a medium-term perspective. If someone tells you that we will enter in a year or two, never believe. This is a pure lie and misleading people. But if someone tells you that this is a case for at least 30 years, also don’t believe it, because experience shows something completely different,” Klimkin emphasized.
“Since NATO is somewhat simpler in reality. We need a consensus within NATO, and we need to do something else in Ukraine, since we ourselves are not ready. We must honestly say,” the minister cites Unian.
