More than 55 thousand needy people in Kyiv will receive financial assistance

On the occasion of Independence Day of Ukraine, 55 461 socially unprotected residents of Kyiv will receive a one-time targeted financial assistance, the press service of the Kiev City State Administration with reference to the corresponding order.

In particular, assistance in the amount of 900 UAH will be paid to persons with disabilities from the childhood of the 1st group and children with disabilities who are recipients of state aid, and persons with disabilities from childhood of group I and children with disabilities who are recipients of social assistance.
Help in the amount of 850 UAH will be given to orphans who are the recipients of the survivor’s pension. Individuals with disabilities of the 1st group, the size of the pension payment of which does not exceed the size of two subsistence minimums for persons who have lost their ability to work, and persons with disability of the I group who are recipients of state aid, will receive 700 UAH each.

Help in the amount of UAH 600 is provided to persons with disabilities from childhood who are recipients of state aid, and persons with disabilities from childhood who are recipients of social assistance.

500 UAH will receive the righteous women of Babiy Yar; victims of political repressions and members of their families; members of the people’s police who took part in the defense of the capital of Ukraine from July 11, 1941 to September 19, 1941; fathers, mothers of soldiers killed in peacetime during military service.
Persons with hearing disabilities and those with visual impairments are provided with assistance in the amount of 450 UAH. Persons who have reached the age of 90 and over will receive 400 UAH.

350 UAH will be received by persons with disabilities and children of the deceased breadwinner who are recipients of state social assistance in accordance with the law «On state social assistance to persons who do not have the right to a pension and persons with disabilities».

Help in the amount of UAH 250 is provided to persons who are recipients of compensation for the provision of social services, and to persons who are recipients of compensation for the care of a disabled group I or a person who has reached the age of 80.
