CEO of Naftogaz, Andriy Kobolyev, said that the process of separating the gas transmission system of Ukraine from Naftogaz will be completed within the next few days. Kobolyev said this commenting on the decision of the Secretariat of the Energy Community.
“The separation of the Ukrainian gas transportation system from Naftogaz should be completed in a few days,” he said.
He noted that in order to complete the unbundling, the Ukrainian energy regulator should make a number of final decisions to complete the licensing of a new company – the Ukrainian GTS Operator, to which the gas transmission system should be transferred.
GTS Operator will supply gas through the territory of Ukraine from January 1, 2020.
