The head of the Ukrainian delegation to the Trilateral Contact Group, Leonid Kravchuk, said that the process of handing over the captured Ukrainian citizens to the People’s Deputy Viktor Medvedchuk was suspended. He announced this on the air of Channel 5.
Representatives of the DPR/LPR said they were ready to hand over four prisoners to Ukraine. At the same time, the self-proclaimed “republics” announced that they wanted to hand them over not to the official authorities, but personally to Medvedchuk, Hraty reported. However, the plane, which was supposed to bring people, for some reason did not take off.
He also noted that the return of Ukrainians from captivity is only Ukraine’s function.
