It became known that EBITDA increased up to 3.2 billion UAH, or by 33.6% in the Q1, compared to the same period in 2018. EBITDA margin increased by 6.3 pp to 62.9%. Revenues from mobile services in the Q1 of 2019 increased up to UAH 4.763 billion, or by 20.6% compared to the same period of 2018.

Kyivstar reported that over 60% of the company’s subscribers already use mobile Internet, and the average usage of data traffic increased up to 3 GB per subscriber in the Q1 of 2019, or by 98% compared to the first quarter of 2018.

At the same time, a decrease in the number of mobile subscribers by 0.7% – to 26.3 million is noted. A slight decrease is caused by reduction in the need for subscribers to use several SIM cards.

As The Journalist reported, from May 1, Ukrainians will be able to change mobile carrier without changing phone number.
