Kyivvodokanal showed what wet wipes, which people throw into the toilet instead of a dump, are turn into subsequently.

“Throw wet wipes into the toilet? Most of them are not soluble and, getting into the rake sections of treatment plants, pose significant problems. Such actions damaging equipment and causing clogging of channels,” the Kyivvodokanal noted.

In addition to napkins, the rags, diapers, personal hygiene products, spoiled vegetables and fruits, bags, and the remains of a dead bird are often thrown into the toilet.

“And this is not a complete list. Employees of the Bortnychy aeration station sometimes manually select 5-6 tons of garbage per shift,” the Kyivvodokanal noted.
