The Libyan military prosecutor’s office of the National Reconciliation Government, issued arrest warrants for the Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan Armed Forces, Marshal Khalifa Haftar. The document was published on the official page of the National Reconciliation Government on Twitter.
“According to Article 20 of the 1999 law on military criminal procedure, we oblige to detain the above-mentioned persons and transfer them to the office of the military prosecutor,” the document says.
Khalifa Haftar is mentioned first in the list of persons to be arrested.
Note that as a result of the fighting for Tripoli, which began on April 5, at least 205 people were killed, including 18 civilians, and 913 were wounded.
As The Journalist reported, the army of Haftar took control over airport in Tripoli.
