After the voting on agreement with the EU on Brexit in the British Parliament failed, the Scottish nationalists urged to suspend the country’s withdrawal from the European Union. This was reported by the BBC.
The leader of the Scottish National Party, Ian Blackford, called for the suspension of Article 50 of the EU Treaty, which has launched the country’s withdrawal from the bloc.
According to Mr Blackford, time is passing by, and the current defeat of the government in parliament was “shameful.”
The leader of the Scottish nationalists supported the Labor’s Party initiative to hold a vote on no confidence in the government of Theresa May, and said that the party would vote for distrust.
As The Journalist reported, British Parliament did not support EU withdrawal agreement.
