The Lithuanian government has decided to extend the quarantine for two weeks, Lithuanian agency BNS reports.
According to Chancellor of the Lithuanian Government Algridas Stončaitis, quarantine imposed due to an outbreak of coronavirus will be extended until April 13. Previously, quarantine was introduced until March 30.
During quarantine, entry and exit to Latvia is limited, mass events are also prohibited, cafes and most shops are closed, the country’s educational institutions have been closed while employers have been urged to allow people to work from home as much as possible.
Recall, on March 14, the Lithuanian government announced the introduction of restrictions to combat the spread of coronavirus in the country.
