British Airways intends to close flights on its only route to Ukraine, London – Kyiv, in October 2019 because of economic disadvantage, Avianews reported with reference to the press service of the airline.
“It is with regret that we are suspending flights to Kyiv. We have a long and proud history of flying to Ukraine, but it is no longer commercially viable,” the message says.
As it became known, according to the airline’s booking system, the last flight on this route scheduled on October 3.
As The Journalist reported, Kyiv-Uzhgorod flights will resume on June 3.
