The President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has announced his intention to strengthen the border with Ukraine in order to prevent the smuggling of Ukrainian weapons into Belarus.
This was reported by the press service of the Head of the Belarusian state.
The President of Belarus has announced the information about the detention of a large number of illegal weapons at the border with Ukraine.
«We decided to strengthen the border with Ukraine. We see how many troubles come from there to Belarus today, including many weapons. We must to close the border. But not for decent people, but for bandits who bring weapons,» – Lukashenko stressed.
The Head of State noted that «Belarusian security officials detained a man who illegaly brought an arsenal of weapons: machine guns, dozen assault rifles, two dozen rifles, 10 thousand rounds etc.»
As The Journalist reported, Lukashenko appointed a new government of Belarus.
