Lawyers of the Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko are preparing to sue some Ukrainian media for the distribution of an article about the alleged USD 5 million purchase of the villa in the Seychelles.
This was posted by the spokeswoman of Prosecutor General, Larysa Sargan, on her Facebook page.
The speaker noted that a number of publications have reprinted «a frankly fabricated article from the suspicious Singapore website,» which claimed that Lutsenko has purchased a villa in the Seychelles for USD 5 million.
«First of all, this is an outright lie. Secondly, why not to ask personally Mr Lutsenko while sending him a request, as well as asking me, is it true?» – stressed Sargan.
«Lutsenko’s lawyers are preparing lawsuits for spreading false information and will demand moral compensation. And any compensation awarded would be given to Ukrainian military hospitals,» – the press secretary of the Prosecutor General said.
It is suggested that media can news representatives would blame Lutsenko for pressuring media.
«But what if he refuses to sue them, how can he protect himself from such an ugly lie?» – Sargan is convinced.
As The Journalist reported, Prosecutor General will send an idea of removal of immunity from yet another People’s Deputy.
