During the session of the Lviv City Council the Deputies will try to remove Andriy Sadoviy from the post of city mayor “for inaction on closing the Lviv city landfill, carrying out its recultivation and choosing a site for a new landfill”. Sadoviy reported this in his Twitter account and published the corresponding statement.

The authors of the resolution are three deputies of the mayor’s office – the chairman of the BPP faction in the city council Petro Adamik, the chairman of the Svoboda (“Freedom”) faction Markiyan Lopachak and Grigoriy Kozlovskiy (BPP). The text of the document notes that, despite the legal facts, the omission of the Lviv mayor regarding the failure to close the Lviv city landfill of solid household waste, its recultivation and the selection of a land plot for the new landfill for housing solid waste of the city of Lviv, established a processing plant and waste sorting complex. Consequently, the city council proposes to terminate the powers of the Lviv mayor ahead of schedule.

The mayor noted: “The interest of the guys is simple: to rid the city of the legitimate mayor and plunder in a big way. Do you guys want power? It is given in the elections. We are ready for re-election of both the mayor and the deputies … Petro Poroshenko, I hope that the scenario of “chaos and robbery” of the deputies from the BPP was not coordinated with you.”

As The Journalist reported, the Deputy of Sadoviy was poured with paint in the building of the Lviv Executive Committee.
