Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro refuses to let U.S. humanitarian supplies into country, as he believes aid can serve as a cover for the U.S. military invasion, DW reports.
Consequently, starting from yesterday, the country blocked the borders with the island autonomies of Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao, which belong to the Netherlands jurisdiction.
The Venezuelan Armed Forces are on alert.

"The army will protect the territorial integrity of the country," said Defense Minister Vladimir Padrini, who stay loyal to the head of Venezuela, Nicholas Maduro.

In turn, Maduro addressed to the nation that he expects 300 tons of humanitarian aid from Russia, as well as from China, Turkey and the United Nations.
As The Journalist reported, Venezuelan government denies MEPs entry into country.
