Manafort used his right not to testify in court

Former political strategist of the Party of Regions and former campaign chief of the Head of the White House, Paul Manafort has refused to testify against himself in court. This is reported by CNN.
It is reported that Manafort used the fifth amendment to the US Constitution which gives him right not to testify against himself in court.
In addition, Manafort’s lawyers have said they chose to present no witnesses for defense and would not set out their arguments.
It is noted that speeches with final arguments are scheduled for August 15. The judge made a request to both sides to meet at 2:00 p.m..
As The Journalist reported earlier, Manafort’s accountant will cooperate with investigation.
