Manafort found guilty of tax fraud

The jury trial found Paul Manafort guilty on 8 of 18 charges. This is reported by NBC news agency.
The Court announced the jury’s decision, according to which the political technologist was found guilty of five charges connected with violation of the tax law, two charges connected with the violation of banking legislation and one charge of concealment of foreign bank accounts.
It is noted that the a verdict will be handed down later. According to some reports, Manafort faces a long term prison sentence.
As The Journalist reported, Manafort has used his right not to testify in court.
