The Ukraine’s representative of the subgroup on security affairs of the Trilateral Contact Group (TKG), Yevhen Marchuk, said that international working group has agreed on the introduction of a UN peacekeeping mission to Donbas by 30 percent. This is about the need for the step-by-step introduction of peacekeepers to the east of Ukraine, Ukrainian News reported.

«I represent Ukraine in two more subgroups on the settlement of the situation in Donbas. One of them concerns the UN peacekeeping mission mandate, which would be compromise. ORDLO [separate districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions] does not participating in it. In addition to Ukraine and Russia, the subgroup includes the United States, Great Britain, Germany, UN experts in peacekeeping missions, the Netherlands. The last meeting took place in Bratislava. We have reached about 30% of consensus, but this is a working level. Possibility of progress appeared when the parties agreed to break the peacekeeping process into 4-5 stages,» said Marchuk.

As The Journalist reported, militants reportedly use modern Russian laser weapons in Donbas.
