Thirteen witnesses in MH17 flight aircraft case will remain anonymous as their life may be at significant risk, Nos.nl reports.
According to the investigating judge, witnesses have the right to protection, as their health and safety may be compromised.
“According to prosecutor’s office data, the witnesses are at significant risk,” the report said.
As you know, the passenger Boeing-777 of the Malaysian Airlines, which operated the MH17 flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, was shot down over the occupied part of Donbas on July 17, 2014. All 283 passengers and 15 crewmembers onboard died.
The trial of suspects in this case will start on March 9, 2020.
