The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has initiated the dismissal of all regional governors, the presidential press secretary Yulia Mendel said on Facebook.
According to Mendel, Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers has approved removal of 13 regional governors only.
“We do not know the principles of government selectivity. We hope for all governors will be dismissed,” Mendel said.
A spokeswoman noted that searching for new managers able to lead the oblasts, is underway.
