Viola von Cramon, a member of the European Parliament for Germany, a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee, has said that due to the situation around the appointment of a new head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO), Ukraine risks to lose the visa-free regime and financial assistance from the European Union.
“While international community is occupied with Belarus, Ukraine government is hastily pushing candidates lacking experience & integrity to select SAPO head. This will not fly Ukrainian Government is jeopardizing visa-free with the EU and further trance of EUR 1,5 billion assistance,” the MEP said.
