In Gdansk (Poland), an unidentified man, armed with a knife, attacked the mayor of the city Paweł Adamowicz. About this reports Gazeta.pl.

"During Big Christmas charity concert of the orchestra in Gdansk, a man escaped onto the stage and injured Paweł Adamowicz with a knife," the report said.

Eyewitnesses of the incident said that the attacker during the implementation of the atrocities shouted that he was mistakenly put in prison.
“My name is Stefan and I was put in prison, being innocent, I was put in prison, being innocent. Civic Platform tried me, so Adamowicz must die,” he shouted from the stage into the microphone.

The man was detained by security and handed over to law enforcement officers. It was soon established that the attacker was a 27-year-old resident of Gdansk, who in the past had been convicted "for crimes against life and health, in particular for robberies."
The victim was taken to the university clinical center. There, doctors were able to restore the work of the mayor’s heart. About this, Polish President Andrzej Duda wrote on Twitter.
