Local residents of Donbas, who went to fight against the Ukrainian army, were forbidden to leave the service after their contracts expire.
This was reported by the Defence Ministry Spokesperson, lieutenant colonel Dmytro Hutsulyak.
«According to the Chief Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Russian command are taking additional measures to prevent the decrease of the manning of the occupation troops units. In particular, the mercenaries among the locals, who serve in the first Army corps of Russian Armed Forces (there are two enemy’s Army corps in Donbas, – ed.) were banned from resigning the military service after their contracts expire or under health condition,» – the spokespersonr said.
The Defense Ministry also reported that during the past two months a significant deterioration in supplies quality provided by Russia for her occupation forces was noticed.
«That is why the occupants are carrying out restricted food supply for of the separated units with a significant reduction in supply standards, which leads to increase of the cases when the military rob the civilian’s objects (grocery stores, private households and houses),» – Gutsulyak said.
