Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelyan has announced the launch of the train in the direction of Lviv – Lublin. In addition, the work on the restoration of the railway in the direction of Peremysl – Malhowice – Nyzhnakovychi is continuing. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Infrastructure.
The Ukrainian and Polish sides agreed to hold a meeting of the bilateral workgroup in Lviv in October to expand the railway service between Ukraine and Poland.
«We are extremely pleased to the progress we achieved on the level of the relevant ministries of Ukraine and Poland. Direct railway service between Ukraine and Poland launched in 2016 is an example of the successful implementation of Ukrainian-Polish projects. And now, both countries are actively working on the expansion of the railway communication between Ukraine and Poland. I thank Poland for the active position on this matter and the comprehensive support of the initiative,» – Omelyan said.
