Militants shelled Horikhove from banned weapons

On February 17, the illegal armed formations violated the ceasefire regime eight times. This was reported by the press service of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO).

The enemy attacked Ukrainian military positions using 120mm and 82mm mortars banned by the Minsk agreements, as well as grenade launchers of various systems and heavy machine guns.

Under the enemy shelling came village of Hnutove, Pavlopil, Pisky, Vodiane, and Berezove.

In addition, the militants fired at Ukrainian military positions near Horikhove from a 120mm mortar (three shells), from 82-mm mortar (four shells), as well as from an automatic easel grenade launcher.

No casualties among the Ukrainian troops have been reported over the past day.
