Militants shelled Ukrainian positions from mortars over past day

On February 13, the illegal armed formations violated the ceasefire regime six times in Donbas. This was reported by the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) headquarters on Facebook.

The militants resorted to 82mm mortar banned by Minsk agreements, as well as to grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms to shell positions of the Armed Forces.

In the zone of responsibility of the Skhid [East] tactical group, the enemy shelled Ukrainian positions four times: near Lebedynske from a hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher, a heavy machine gun and small arms; near Berezove from small arms; near Slavne from automatic easel grenade launcher and a heavy machine gun; near Novomykhailivka from a hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher and a heavy machine gun.

Two enemy attacks were recorded in the zone of responsibility of the Pivnich [North] tactical group: near Novoluhanske with an automatic easel grenade launcher and small arms; near Novotoshkivske from 82mm mortar the enemy fired 6 shells.

No casualties among the Ukrainian troops have been reported over the past day.
