On May 13, militants attacked Ukrainian army positions 9 times in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area, two times using 82mm mortars prohibited by the Minsk Agreements, the press center of Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operation said in an update on Facebook.

Militants shelled Ukrainian military positions using grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms.

In the area of activity of the operational-tactical group Vostok (“East”), the militants attacked Ukrainian positions six times using 82mm mortars, heavy antitank grenade launchers and heavy machine guns near the village of Lebedynske; heavy anti-tank grenade launchers and heavy machine guns in the area of ​​the settlement of Bohdanivka; two times from grenade launchers of various systems and small arms near the town of Avdiyivka; mounted anti-tank grenade launchers near the village of Novotroitske; automatic machine gun grenade launchers and heavy machine guns near the town of Maryinka.

In the area of activity of the operational-tactical group Sever(“North”), the enemy attacked JFO positions three times using 82mm mortars, hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms near the Novotoshkivske settlement; two times from small arms near the settlements of Luhanske and Stanytsia Luhanskaya.

The JFO HQ reported that there were no casualties among the members of Joint Forces.

According to the intelligence one militant was killed, two more were injured.
