On October 17, the illegal armed formations violated the ceasefire regime 29 times in Donbas, the press service of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) reported on Facebook.
The militants resorted to 122mm artillery systems prohibited by the Minsk agreements, multi-caliber mortars, grenade launchers of various systems and small arms. Under the enemy fire came Ukrainian positions near Vodiane, Pavlopil, Talakivka, Avdiivka, Berezove, Pyshevyk, Lebedynske and Shyrokyne.
In addition, the militants fired at JFO positions near Novoluhanske, Luhanske. Zolote, Novozvanivka, Hladosove, Krymske, Khutir Vylniy and Popasna.
No casualties among the Ukrainian troops have been reported over the past day.
