On August 28, the illegal armed groups violated the ceasefire regime 14 times in Donbas. No casualties among the Ukrainian military reported, the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) headquarters said on Facebook.
The enemy violated the ceasefire 14 times, using 120 mm and 82 mm mortars prohibited by the Minsk agreements, as well as weapons mounted on infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms.
In the zone of action of tactical force “East”, the enemy launched seven attacks on Ukrainian army positions near Vodiane, Lebedynske, Pavlopil and Shyrokyne (here the enemy used an unmanned aerial vehicle with mounted grenade launcher to drop VOG-17).
In the zone of action of tactical force “North”, the enemy shelled JFO positions seven times near Novoluhanske, Zaitsevo, Novotoshkivske and Pivdenne.
Near Maiorske, the militants violated the ceasefire three times. In addition, militants fired on civilian infrastructure in the area of Horlivka-Bakhmut humanitarian road corridor.
