On June 6, the Russian-led armed formations shelled Ukrainian positions 16 times in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area, the JFO press center said on Facebook.
The source reports that the enemy shelled Ukrainian army positions in the area of Opytne, Pavlopil, Vodiane, Chermalyk, Mariїnka and Maiorske.
“Two members of the Joint Forces were injured after the enemy attacks. The units of the Joint Forces conducted an active defense and gave an adequate response to the enemy. According to the intelligence data, on June 6 one occupier was killed,” the message said.
On June 7, the militants attacked JFO positions seven times in the area of Pavlopil, Gnutove, Novoluhanske, Travneve and Zaitsevo.
“As a result of the shelling, two members of the Joint Forces were killed, the other four were injured, along with four more soldiers were traumatized. The Ukrainian army units gave an adequate response to the enemy; the enemy’s losses are being specified,” the message says.
