On Wednesday, May 15, miners from Lvivvugilya state-owned mining company held protest action near the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry, demanding to pay wage arrears, as the chairman of the Independent Trade Union of Miners of Ukraine, Mykhailo Volynets wrote on Facebook.
The miners holding protest posters with inscriptions “Government! Support the miners of Galicia not by the words, but by deeds”, “Give dad a salary!!!”, as well as flags of their trade union organizations.
