Team Zelensky informed that the head of the Servant of the People Party was changed in the prescribed manner, and the party was registered by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.
The report notes that there are no legal obstacles to the participation of the Servant of the People Party in the early parliamentary elections.
In addition, it is indicated that the media spread untrue information about election of Dmytro Razumkov as the head of the party on May 27, since the extraordinary party congress adopted a corresponding decision on May 21.
“On this day, Ivan Bakanov resigned as the party’s head and suspended his membership in the Servant of the People Party. We remind that Bakanov began to fulfill the duties of the first deputy head of the Security Service of Ukraine on May 22, and he fully complied with all the requirements of the current legislation,” the statement said.
Team Zelensky also reported that the information saying that Servant of the People Party amend the party’s charter in connection with the change of the head is deliberately false, since according to Ukrainian legislation, the change of the head of a legal entity and making changes to the constituent documents are completely different registration actions.
“The registration actions were carried out by the Ministry of Justice in accordance with the law and within the time limits,” the party said.
