Operational reserve of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is currently more than 158 thousand people, of which about 122 thousand people are the reserve of the first stage.
This was reported in the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine with reference to the statement of the Deputy Minister for European Integration, Lieutenant-General Anatolyi Petrenko.
According to the Ministry of Defense, since the beginning of the year more than 6,000 military liable operative reserves of the first stage and more than 50 thousand – the second stage have been prepared.
In addition, since early 2018, 17 thousand people have been accepted for military service under the contract in the Armed Forces.
