The Ukrainian side at the meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) on the peaceful settlement of the situation in Donbas stated, that uninterrupted work of the Donetsk Filtration Plant depends on the fulfillment of the Minsk agreements.

This was reported by the Ukrainian envoy to the TCG, ex-President Leonid Kuchma’s press secretary Darka Olifer on Facebook.

«The issue of security was the key question in the work of the subgroup on social and economic issues, where special attention was paid to the work of the Donetsk filtering station. The daily station employee shifts is approximately 25 people. Every time Ukrainian arm forces forces, in conjunction with the OSCE SMM, helping workers, living on the ORDLO territory, get safely to the plant», – the message said.

Separately, Olifer noted that «because of the lack of security guarantees from militants side, the employees of Vodafone Ukraine are still unable to restore the equipment necessary for the full operation of mobile communications in Donbas».

Also, the Ukrainian side expects a constructive response from representatives of the Russian Federation to Ukrainian initiatives with a view to freeing hostages.

The next meeting of the TCG on the settlement of the situation in Donbas is scheduled on July 11.

As «The Journalist» reported, a ceasefire will start in Donbas from July 1 in connection with the harvesting season.
