On July 2, at the negotiations of The Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) on the peaceful settlement of the situation in Donbas, the parties did not reached agreement on a new ceasefire regime and exchange of hostages because of the position of the Russian delegation.

This was reported by the press secretary of the representative of Ukraine in the TCG, the former president Leonid Kuchma, Darka Olifer.

“In connection with the position of the Russian Federation, no progress was achieved on the introduction of the “bread truce”, as well as on the release of the captives,” she said.

The next TCG meeting is known to be held in Minsk on July 17.

As The Journalist reported, Zelensky appointed new Ukraine’s representatives for TCG.
