Ukrainian side at the negotiations of the Trilateral Contact Group (TAG) in Minsk offered the delegation of the Russian Federation a wide and narrow format for the release of hostages and political prisoners, including declaring the requirement to release Ukrainian prisoners of war seamen.

This was reported by the first deputy chairman of Verkhovna Rada, representative of Ukraine in the humanitarian subgroup of the TCG to resolve the situation in Donbas Iryna Herashchenko in Facebook

“On the question of prisoners. During TCG, we repeated the demand – the immediate release of sea prisoners of war without any conditions,” emphasized Herashchenko.
According to Herashchenko, “the representative of the Russian Federation, Borys Gryzlov, repeatedly tried to interrupt the Ukrainian side, saying that“ Minsk is not the place where they should discuss the fate of prisoners of war”.
“We demand their release because they fall under paragraph 6 of the Minsk Agreements – the immediate release of all illegally withheld, which the aggressor country is holding in connection with the conflict, ”said Herashchenko.
“We also once again handed over to the Russian Federation a proposal to pick up 25 of our citizens and proposed various exemption formats: wide 25/25 and 19/72, suggested several other formats. If the Russian Federation is not ready to take away all its own, they have offered several narrow formats to unblock the process – start with the release of those who need medical treatment,” the parliamentarian stressed.
“We are also ready to hand over three Russians from the list to 25 Russian consuls in exchange for our military, who have been holding Donetsk for 4 years, Serhii Glondar, Oleksandr Kornynkov, Bohdan Pantyushenko, but the Russians don’t give their consent. We continue to push to pull the guys” added Herashchenko.

As reported by "Journalist", European Commission agreed on amendments to EU gas directive regarding Nord Stream 2.
