Analysts of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) have revised forecasts, previously announced on the oil prices in 2019 and 2020. Now the oil price is expected to be set at USD 60 per barrel. This was announced in the review of the International Monetary Fund "World Economic Outlook".

In October 2018, the IMF has talked about level prices at USD 69 in 2019 and USD 66 in 2020, the last review deals with the average price of oil at USD 60- USD 58.95 per barrel in 2019 and USD 58.74 per a barrel in 2020.
“Oil prices have been volatile since August 2018, influenced by changes in global supply, US policies on Iranian oil exports and concerns about a decline in global demand. As of early January, oil prices were at USD 55 per barrel, and the markets expected prices to remain generally near this level for the next four or five years,” the survey says.
